Golden Ears Park

Chelsea is such a good sport. She hates hates hates the rain, yet she let me drag her out into it anyway. We knew we were bound to get drenched, so we stuck close to home and explored Golden Ears Park.

Yes, it was damp and dreary, but I spend enough time in an office to be able to enjoy myself outdoors in any conditions. Plus you can't go wrong when you're driving down tree-lined roads while listening to the Walter Mitty Soundtrack.

Aen't the moss covered trees magical? It's like another world in those woods.

The lake was deserted and eerie. The horizon line where the lake ended and the mountains started was nearly invisible.
