The Cariboo
This past weekend I had the great honour of photographing Emily and Kevin's wedding in Williams Lake. To get there, Emily arranged for me to hitch a ride with Audrey and Leah.
I insisted on investigating a few of the pull-offs along the highway. The drive into the Cariboo area of British Columbia is interesting because the terrain dramatically shifts from snow capped mountains, to desert hills, to marshland.
We didn't know each other very well previously to becoming road trip companions, but we are all TWU alum, so we had no trouble chatting the entire way there. On the return trip we read aloud from the book we received as a wedding favour: Love Does by Bob Goff.
Thanks to Leah and Audrey for being awesome road trip buddies. Now I must get started on editing the hundreds of photos I took at the wedding.
