Alouette Lake

The weather is making it clear that autumn has arrived, but I've still got a few summer posts to share. It already feels surreal to look back on this beautiful Sunday out on Alouette Lake and realize it was just a few short weeks ago.

Whitney has been backpacking around Southeast Asia most of the summer and I've missed her so much! But she's back and adventuring with me again so I'm happy as a clam.

August is the best time for spending quality time at a lake because they've had all summer to warm up. Allouette was the absolute perfect temperature for swimming that day!
