Lindeman Lake

This weekend, Colleen, Zach, and I took advantage of a sunny Saturday to do the Lindeman Lake hike. We're planning on tackling Joffre Lakes next weekend, so we considered this the warm up. 

Colleen and I had the bright idea to buy Yaktrax for our boots beforehand to take on the icy path and it was probably the best decision we could have made. We literally ran down the icy mountain without a problem.

There wasn't a reflection on the lake that day, but the forest had beautiful lighting, so we ran around there for awhile and I tried to use my Yaktraxs to climb a tree with moderate success. It was a beautiful hike, but a bit too easy. I'm pumped for something a bit more challenging next weekend.
